About Parents Who Volunteer

Parents Who Volunteer is home to The Volunteer Vault — a growing collection of practical, real-world tools for school volunteers, PTA/PTO leaders, room parents, and anyone who finds themselves saying “Sure, I can help!” even when their calendar suggests otherwise.

This site exists for one simple reason:

School volunteers deserve resources that actually make their lives easier — not more chaotic.

No guilt. No overwhelm. No “Pinterest-perfect or you’re failing” energy.
Just clear templates, step-by-step guides, and copy-and-paste scripts that work in real schools with real people and real time constraints.

We’ve planned jog-a-thons with five volunteers.
We’ve run book fairs with questionable Wi-Fi and a borrowed cash box.
We’ve organized carnivals, staff lunches, silent auctions, and every “we’ve always done it that way” event in between.

And we saved everything — the checklists, the timelines, the templates, the “please don’t do it this way” lessons, and the shortcuts that save hours.

Now, you get the vault.

ParentsWhoVolunteer.com is your place to:

  • Find resources you can use today
  • Build systems that last beyond a single school year
  • Learn what actually works (and what’s not worth the stress)
  • Feel supported, not judged

If you’re here, you’re already doing something good.
Let’s make it easier — and a whole lot less overwhelming — together.
